Show Notes

When we've never been in a certain position at a certain level before, we often feel some nerves.  When we're an "only" in the room, we often feel like an outsider, which adds to the nerves.  When we're new to town, those nerves ramp up even more.  This week's guest Lashonda Fitch (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lashondafitch500/) felt all those things, but didn't let them stop her.  She made friends, contributed, did an amazing job and was rewarded with the success she was looking for, and is only growing from here, so I'm thrilled to welcome her to the show to share her journey, her courage, and her success!

In this episode we talk about

  • How she was open to different opportunities.
  • The skills she built in the different positions she had throughout her career.
  • The fateful wish she made on Lincoln's nose
  • How she transformed herself to give her inner voice of doubt less to work with!

Lashonda spent over 10 years in banking, business development, and sales. Before assuming the role at Oak Ridge, she served as a Real Estate professional and a small business counselor for Justine Peterson. In her spare time, monthly she averages about 150 miles cycling on local trails and enjoys time on her deck with her husband Nick.
